A local home goods and antique shop needed a TV commercial that fit into its small-business budget but still reflected the high quality of the goods they sold.
The team at Mabus Agency recommended focusing on lingering shots of the store’s incredible selection. By opting for voiceover instead of on-camera talent, we were able to shave budget that could be diverted to ad placement.
To sell the visuals, I needed to write a voiceover script that tied “things” to home without veering too far in sentimentality. Instead of focusing on individual things, the script centers on the way we use things to make our homes feel like home.
